Personal statement:
I am not a politician, I am a person you call when you have problems and are looking for solutions. I use all my knowledge and experience to make judgment calls that can change the lives of people. I have dedicated myself to a life of service, integrity, and fairness. My moral compass has been ingrained in my essence by my family, my work, and my pledge to a higher being so that I exemplify these values in all my endeavors. There is no more noble cause than protecting the rights of a person or a people and if given the opportunity to assist in this process of nation building I will be fair, open minded, and dedicated to the cause. I was born and raised in So Cal and my father, mother, and grandmother taught me at an early age the meaning of Aloha and the importance of Ohana. I have been married over twenty years and have two phenomenal girls, both cheerleaders (one at the University of Maryland and the other at our local high school). I started my career in public safety 24 years ago and have numerous certifications and service awards. My hobbies include spending time with my family and friends, photography, mechanics, and working around the house.
